If you have been following Kim Kardashian lately, you might be familiar with her residence. In collaboration with her husband, Kanye West, she made a “video tour” of her home in late 2019. However, that tour did not cover the residence of the entrepreneur in its entirety.
In her New Vogue Video, Kim shares the inside beauty of her home. She gives a visual walkthrough of her residence with a commentary on how “she wants her house to be as quiet and simple as possible.” The social media influencer argues that the outside world is full of chaos and she wants a home that is minimalist and simple. Plain colors, orderly placed objects, and neatly clean stuff add up to what she calls “cream house.”
“It is shocking that my four kids have not messed up my cream house,” the mother of four confesses. However, explaining the essence of the video, Kim explains that the video revolves around how her house has a personal touch to her life and her philosophy of existence.
Strange things like the bag of her hairs that dates back to the 1980s when her father cut them off, are placed in “a hidden place.” In the video, Kim reads the letterhead that says: “Hi Kimberly, I cut your hair on April 11, 1988.” Though strange at first glance, these add up to the personal effects of the socialite.
Furthermore, the entrepreneur tells the camera that the rooms of her four kids are blue, pink, and purple colored. She explains that the idea behind these creamy and varying colors is that the kids can relate and express themselves in their own styles - while living in their spaces. “They can have fun and enjoy in their bedrooms,” Kim asserts. However, she has the tendency to make the living room as quiet, exquisite, and serene as possible.
Featured in the video, the house has 2 wide kitchens, a serene living room, and a lavishly designed family room, which has a ceiling-to-floor television screen. Though extravagantly designed with the classical touch, the house is calm and quiet, as she “loves calmness.”
Kim’s daughter North’s painting is another good addition to the beauty of the house. “Painting has been an amazing hobby for North,” Kim asserts as she shows her paintings of dragons, trees and other nature’s beauty. Kardashian further explains that it is amazing to see that her daughter has been occupied with her “The North’s Art” throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her own bedroom is an all-white-clad, beautiful architecture. “This is where I love to have tea and write letters to my kids,” Kim tells the camera as she sits on the white cozy sofa and reads on the Baby Books. In her bedroom is placed the classic Childhood Trunk, where Kim’s every birthday present is preserved. “I share my wholesome memories with this childhood trunk,” Kim tells the camera as she opens up the trunk and skims through the birthday cards that she has received from her parents and grandparents.
The ouster of Kardashian’s house is another beautifully aligned garden. She shows off the all-black basketball courtyard and the wide-open family gym. Kim ends the video with the collection of her three cars that are all painted in gray: Rolls Royce, Lamborghini Urus, and Maybach Sedan.
