Helen Shapiro – 75

Helen Shapiro had a whirlwind pop music career that started as a 14-year-old in 1961. She released two chart-topping hits called You Don’t Know and Walking back to Happiness. Before those two songs, she released a track that peaked at number 3 called Don’t Treat Me Like a Child.

Shapiro even had The Beatles touring as her support act and released two more top 10 songs named Tell Me What He Said and Little Miss Lonely. But by her late teens, she was Usurped by The Beatles and Dusty Springfield with their popular beat music. She is set to appear in a documentary called Who Is Earl Okin?
